Not to make it sound like some kind of Orwellian big brother conspiracy, but it is a little weird that facebook can recognize you and your friends in any picture where one's face is showing. It can discern who's who from an impressive number of angles and records that data in the pictures. It's not really a big deal privacy-wise, as you can turn off the setting, but once again I'm amazed by what technology can do.
